கடல் தவிர்த்து ஆறு, கண்மாய், குளம், அணைகளில் மீன்பிடிக்கும் மீனவர்களுக்கு தமிழ்நாடு மீனவர் நலவாரியத்தின் எந்தவிதமான பலன்களும் கிடைப்பதில்லை. இந்த நிலையை மாற்றி, மீன்பிடித்தலை தொழிலாகக் கொண்ட அனைத்து மீனவர்களுக்கும் தமிழ்நாடு மீனவர் நலவாரியத்தின் அனைத்துப் பலன்களும் கிடைக்க வழிவகை செய்யப்படும். தகுதியாய்ந்த இறால் உற்பத்தியாளர்களும் இத்திட்டத்தின் கீழ் பலன் பெறுவார்கள். மேலும், எதிர்பாராத நோய்த் தாக்குதல்களால் நட்டத்தைச் சந்திக்கும் இறால் உற்பத்தியாளர்கள் பயன்பெறும் வகையில், இறால் நோய் காப்பீடு வழங்கப்படும்.

Manifesto Summary (English)

Inland fishermen (fishing in rivers, tanks, ponds, and dams) currently not receiving benefits from the Tamil Nadu Fishermen Welfare Board will be brought under its purview to receive all benefits. Additionally, eligible shrimp producers facing losses due to unexpected disease outbreaks will be covered by shrimp disease insurance.
